At most companies, the interview process starts well before you meet your interviewer.
When you arrive for your interview, be certain to act respectful towards everyone you encounter. This includes the people you ride in the elevator with, the doorman, and the receptionist. You never know who will be asked to comment on your character and being disrespectful can surely hurt your chances of getting the job.
